In Memoriam

Barbara S. Fournier
(known as "Bobbie" to her friends)

passed away on January 23, 2000

20 Years friendship: she has been a great friend to me over so many years.
I visited Bobbie several times in Santa Fe, and met her at many occasions
in other places of the world.

She judged for us in Germany three times, visited me at my home and
always stayed in contact with me throughout the years.

The last time we met at her house in New Mexico in May 1999
and spent a super time all together.

Bobbie started breeding Norfolks (known as drop-eared Norwich at that time)
under the Bethway prefix in 1951.

After moving from Connecticut to Santa Fe, New Mexico in 1974 she started
her career as a dogshow judge and judged in many places of the world.

Her last homebred champion Norfolk - and constant companion - was
U.S.A. Ch. Bethways Carlos
(dam: Bethways Miss Santa Fe, sire: Ch. Red Pepper Charlie Chidley, a son of
Ch. Allright Lancelot)

Her Bethway Norfolks have got many new breeders started over the years

She has been a great personality, and I will never forget her...
